Creating and Sharing a Vision

Practical Strategies for Inspiring Leaders

Reasons for attending this programme:
You are passionate about your work and keen to share this with others.  Somehow they don’t seem to get it.  They can’t see the future the way you do.  They seem unwilling to buy in to the changes you wish to make.  Or maybe there is a lack of cohesion within your team.
You want some practical but transformational methodologies to make sure that there is a shared vision for development and goals that inspire people to success.

What is this training about?
Having, holding and sharing a vision is key to inspirational leadership in its many contexts.  Whether it is the vision for a whole college/school development strategy or a learning outcome for a lesson, the principles are the same.  When developed thoroughly, having a clearly defined vision has a massive impact on motivation and achievement.

In this one day programme, you will reflect on some of the most powerful and effective ways to create and share a vision.  You will have the opportunity to participate in visioning exercises and plan how to involve others throughout the process.

During this programme you learn:

  • Practical strategies and techniques for creating a vision
  • Ways to communicate your vision to others
  • How you can work with a team to create a shared vision
  • The importance of differentiated approaches to the process
  • How to use a shared vision to unlock motivation and engage others
  • What you can do to keep the team focused on the vision for the future
  • The importance of shared visions in an effective Goal Setting process and Change Management

  • This course has been worth every penny. Fast doesn’t mean lacking in quality. The sheer tonnage of information is astonishing. It’s so worth it. You will learn a lot even if you are a very experienced teacher and you will enjoy it
    Dr Sharon Ney

  • It doesn’t matter how experience you are, go for it. The training was the most magic. Teaching must go over to learning and we in school have to take responsibility for that. I will use this in my work as a consultant helping schools to improve. Many many thanks for a great course.
    Anita Svennson,Swedish Educational consultant

  • This was loads of fun and I loved it. Fun and interactive ways of learning and how to apply that to teaching. Some may think that its only for teachers but we are all teachers in different areas. This course totally surpassed my expectations and all my goals were achieved. Creative teaching makes you want to teach. I highly recommend it so that more good teachers equal more confident kids. Just do it!
