The Power of Communication in Supporting Change

Reasons for attending this programme:
Working one to one often brings the constant pressure to achieve more with less and less time available for each client. NLP provides a set of skills which enable counsellors to promote change and understanding with clients at a deeper level and more quickly.
As Counsellors we are fully aware of the importance of communication, rapport and empathy in helping clients to overcome their difficulties. By using the range of NLP skills we can go further, by being aware of not only what we are saying but also how the words we use impact on clients in other ways.

What is this training about?
NLP enables people to understand the links between language and the brain, so that we can enable people to understand how they keep themselves in a given place, such as feeling depressed or anxious and how we can help them to move in a new direction and make more fulfilling choices.
This course provides an opportunity to learn a range of innovative techniques in Neuro-Linguistic Programming. You will be introduced to skills and practices which have improved the effectiveness of counsellors over the past 30 years.

How NLP is applied to help people change
How to start to make changes in the way you structure your behaviour to impact positively on others
To develop your ability to ‘read’ others through the senses
