Equality, Diversity and prepared for inspection

E&D features highly in the 2012 inspection framework. Be inspection ready.

Reasons for attending this programme:
How has the inspection of E&D changed? What will inspectors be looking for? Are there any lessons to learn from the outcomes of the previous inspection framework? What key principles and approaches do you, your staff and governors now need to adopt to be successful? How effective is the action you take to ‘narrow the gap’, for example recruitment and outcomes between different groups of learners? These and other key themes will be explored in this highly practical and interactive workshop. It looks in detail at how different staff teams contribute to effective inspection outcomes for E&D. This essential training will help you to get to grips with the new inspection of E&D and maximise the benefits of equality for your organisation.

What is this training about?
E&D features highly in the new 2012 common inspection framework, and impacts on all three key inspection judgments. Inspectors will focus even more closely on the impact of equality and diversity on learners and whether providers are effectively narrowing the gap in achievement between groups of learners. This event will be of interest to E&D managers, quality managers, strategic leads for E&D, senior managers and all staff with an interest in the inspection of equality and diversity.

  • The key messages and outcomes of the previous inspection framework
  • What the best of the best are doing in relation to E&D
